monogamy ducks

guinness by the river for st. patty's day. Ant and I troubled the water with rocks. Some Italian greyhounds walking the path. "Whatsup man", "Whatsup dog?" There were ducks in pairs. Usually one brown, the other with a green and gold head. I don't think anymore. I just see what is apparent. Like an old person.
psychedelic holographic mary necklace prompted my remembering a description of someone's musical endeavors: "We're trying to get out of the psychedelic and more into.. drugs." made me think of Huxley's explanation of a sensual attraction to gemstones and flowers. They are radiant objects that have certain qualities of light, color and pattern only visible in other objects when utilitarian sensory discretion is lifted through the use of vision-inducing drugs. All things of equal import. some are more attractive.
Getting into everything's "thingness," all the "Is-ness."

body movers

all that Ram Dass hasn't really sunk in, or elevated me, rather. My mountain is definitely analogous, i'm looking through the windows of perception at like, um, a mirror?
I recently learned, through investigation into the source of a pesky abdominal pain, that I have a thing about my uterus which is technically a congenital deformity. A pretty little wall of tissue divides it partially in half. A septate uterus is the most common cause of trouble getting pregnant, early and late-term miscarriages, and premature births. But go in through the vagina, snip snip, watch it unzip - the septum retracts and the uterus has now one single cavity with no annoying, poorly-vascularized flesh obstacles to fetal implantation. Also, I found out this brand of 'deformity' is linked to renal anomalies - I could have only one kidney. While all this could be very "cool cool cool," if what I thought of as my reproductive burden has been lifted by a physical anomaly, would I feel slighted?
